Each winner received one of the board games. The colorful males were produced in a small Wurzener factory.  In keeping with its trade fair motto "Place to live and play", the LWB also spent nine days reporting on its new building projects and recent renovation projects. According to Pöhlandt, the guests at the stand not only wanted to know how the new buildings were equipped, but also how to obtain the necessary white residence permit. "Anyone wishing to move into a subsidised apartment needs this certificate, which is issued by the Social Welfare Office of the City of Leipzig and is subject to income limits," he explained.
