Handicrafted and planted with the LWB at the Ökofete

Hotels for wild bees and herbs and flowers for the home: Leipziger Wohnungs- und Baugesellschaft mbH (LWB) triggered a rush of visitors with its free handicrafts and planting campaigns at the Ökofete on 16 June 2019 in the Clara-Zetkin-Park in Leipzig.

"LWB's stand is now the most popular and always crowded," said Leipzig's mayor for the environment Heiko Rosenthal. A total of more than 1,000 plants were given away and 100 wild bee hotels were built.  In addition, the LWB Wheel of Fortune turned until 7 pm.

"It's nice that we have received so much feedback from our guests and from our tenants again," said Sandy Ruhland. The team assistant in Corporate Communications was responsible for all aspects of the LWB's Ökofeteproject.  "There was praise from the tenants for the company, for example for living in different neighborhoods or for the LWB caretakers. Several guests reported on the surprise they had experienced as anniversary tenants of the LWB. As part of this campaign, all those whose tenancy agreements "celebrate" round birthdays will receive a nice gift.

"We are very happy to take part in the Ökofete every year," said LWB Corporate Spokesperson Samira Sachse. "Here we can talk to many guests, collect opinions or draw attention to our projects.
