Tenant Council

In the interest of the tenants

The LWB Tenants' Council represents the interests of all LWB tenants on a voluntary basis. The body was first elected in 1996. The current Council, with 22 tenants, has been in office since the end of 2019.

The members act both on site in the LWB residential complexes as contact persons for neighbourhood issues and as advisors and liaisons between the tenants and the LWB as landlord. They are committed to ensuring that neighbours treat each other with courtesy and consideration and that they live together in a good and tolerant manner. Their mediating function is somewhat comparable to that of parents' councils in schools.

Every tenant of the LWB can run for the honorary office. The next tenant council election will take place in 2023.
